Happy Birthday Rebecca!!!

Rebecca is my strong, faithful, funny, loving and deeply kindred bff of a friend. This girl can cut it up on the dance floor, make a mean Mississippi fried grouper, hang in for the unabridged mono-y-mono, look sassy in a sombrero, smack talk without sounding trashy, and keep cucumber cool in the crazy and unjust, where most of us are apt to loose the plot.  Her reach is always extending her grasp, keeping her brave, hopeful, good-humored and continually transforming.  Rebecca carries herself with a disarming grace and humility, harmonizing whatever space she's in, naturally making everybody feel at ease, calm and jokey, because she's so freaking funny.  And when she sings she sounds like springtime in the South.  I LOVE this girl and I know I'm not the only one.  Send her birthday greetings today if you know her, or even if you don't.  Her life is a blessing to many folk but I believe I am her biggest fan and her greatest champion.
